Our Man in Europe...

Our Man in Europe...

Buying paintings is one thing - getting them moved around the world is another.

Because we buy our stock all over the place and in large quantities, we have two vans out on the road full time, going around like a pair of squirrels collecting paintings we have bought - from all over Europe.

We thought you might like to meet one of them: say hello to Robin!

Robin is an utter hero. No distance seems unreachable, no auction or dealers shop too far…we give him the list and he gets them!

This photo was taken yesterday after Robin had just returned from one of his epic adventures on the road. Bless him, he had travelled 3500 in ten days and brought back in excess of 250 paintings. Even the glove box of the van was full!

So, the next time you find yourself sitting admiring your painting and wondering about its immediate past….the chances are it was at some point safely packed in Robins van and being whisked along the motorway. Should you see him, give him a wave or hoot!
